Money support team secures record savings for tenants

A successful year working in partnership with Northumbrian Water has secured savings of over £414,000 for our tenants.

We work closely with our tenants to personalise the interventions required to help them make the most of their money.  Over 2,300 tenants were identified by our specialist money support team as meeting the eligibility criteria, and were auto-enrolled or auto-renewed, generating savings of over £414,000.

Having worked with Northumbrian Water for several years this has become a vital element of our money support package.  We ensure that every interaction counts by cross-checking tenant accounts for eligibility, identifying savings, and applying to their accounts.

 

Our tenant said: "I honestly couldn't be happier with the help I've had from Livin's money support team, the adviser went above and beyond to steer me in the right direction with any further help I might need. I'm very grateful to everyone at Livin, that little bit extra a month goes a long way."

 

Joanne Burnip, financial inclusion manager, said: "By collaborating with Northumbrian Water we can consistently support tenants in enrolling and help them to save money on their utility bills. This year we have supported 35% more tenants to access saving from Northumbrian Water."
